We built Don'tForgetDad because we needed it ourselves. Someone we love kept forgetting their meds, and the worry ate at us from miles away. So we made something about it.
Our Mission
Medication gets missed. It happens. Life gets busy, routines break, and suddenly it's been three days since Dad took his blood pressure pill. We built a way for families to keep track together — not by nagging, but by knowing. A shared view of who took what, and a gentle nudge when something slips.
Why We Built This
It started with a phone call. "Did Dad take his pills today?" Nobody knew. That question — repeated every single day — is what pushed us to build this. Most medication apps are built for the patient. We built one for the whole family, because health doesn't happen in isolation. The people who care need visibility too.
Who It's For
The name says "Dad" but we mean everyone. Your mum managing her diabetes meds. Your grandfather who insists he already took his pills (he didn't). Your aunt recovering from surgery. Even yourself — because everyone forgets sometimes, and having someone notice makes all the difference.
Built With Love
We're a small team. We argue about button colors and lose sleep over notification timing. Every feature gets the same question: "Would this actually help our own families?" If the answer is no, it doesn't ship. The app has streaks, shared calendars, and family dashboards — but underneath all of it is just one thing: we want people to feel less alone in caring for someone.
Meet the Founder
Don'tForgetDad was created by Theophilus Rex Danquah, a Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience designing and building secure, scalable applications. With a strong background in cross-platform development (Flutter, React Native) and cloud infrastructure (Firebase, GCP, AWS), Theophilus has successfully architected and scaled multiple enterprise and consumer applications. Driven by a personal need to help his family track medications across time zones, he applied his deep technical expertise to build a reliable, user-centered health tool that families can trust.

Health data is sensitive. That's why Don'tForgetDad uses Google Firebase infrastructure with end-to-end encryption for data in transit and at rest. We never sell personal data. We never serve ads. The app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, reviewed and approved by both platforms.
