Don’tForgetDad is a simple, family-friendly mobile app that helps you track medications,
set reminders, and stay in sync with loved ones. It was originally built to help my dad
stay consistent with his meds.
Is this app only for dads?
No. You can add profiles for mum, grandma, grandpa, siblings, a partner—or even yourself.
The name is just a reminder of why caregiving matters.
How do medication reminders work?
You choose the medication time and schedule, and the app sends push notifications to
everyone linked to that profile so they can stay on track.
What happens if someone misses a dose?
If a dose is marked as missed, linked family members receive an update so you’re never
left wondering what happened—even when you’re far away.
Do I need to type in all medication details?
Not always. You can snap a photo of the medication label and our AI will read it and
fill in key details like name, purpose, dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage
advice. You can edit anything before saving.
Can I add multiple family members?
Yes. You can create as many profiles as you need and switch between them easily—perfect
for parents, grandparents, or anyone you help care for.
How do I share a profile with family?
Each profile has a unique join code or QR code. Share it with your family members and,
once they join, everyone sees the same schedule and updates in real time.
Does the app work if we live in different countries?
Yes. Don’tForgetDad supports international time zones and multiple languages, so
families can coordinate care even when they’re spread across different countries.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. Your data is stored securely using modern encryption standards and trusted
cloud infrastructure. We never sell your data or share it without your explicit
permission.
Can multiple caregivers update the same profile?
Yes. Family members can mark doses as taken, update medications, and see changes in
real time, so everyone stays aligned around the same information.
Does Don’tForgetDad work offline?
You can still view schedules and mark doses as taken while offline. Once your device
reconnects, the app syncs your changes automatically.
What phones are supported?
Right now Don’tForgetDad is available for iPhone (iOS 15 and above). We plan to expand
to more platforms in the future.
