Delete your account
Want to delete your Don'tForgetDad account? You can do it from the app in about a minute. If you no longer have the app, you can ask us by email instead.
In the app
Four steps
Open the Me tab
Tap Me in the bottom bar. That's where your profile and settings live.
Tap Delete Account
Scroll to the bottom of the Me tab. Delete Account sits in the account section, just above Log out. It opens a "Delete your account?" sheet.
Pick a reason
Choose why you're leaving. This is required, goes to our team, and changes what we work on. Choosing "Other" lets you write your own.

Confirm
Agree to the Terms, tap the red Delete Account button, then confirm in the pop-up. Deletion is permanent, there is no undo, and you're signed out when it finishes.
Before you go
What gets deleted
Deleted for good
- Your account and sign-in.
- Your XP, streaks and progress.
- Profiles that only you look after, with their medications, medication photos, dose history and snoozes.
- Profile photos stored for those profiles.
What stays
- Shared profiles. If another family member also follows a profile, it stays with them. It is only unlinked from you.
- A short log of the reason you chose and the date, kept without your email, so we can improve the app.
- Encrypted backups for a short period, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Premium is billed by the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in your store account too.
No app? Ask by email
If you can't open the app, email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm you own the account before we remove it.
