1. Purpose of the App

Don’tForgetDad is a family-first app designed to make caregiving easier by helping you coordinate medication reminders, track wellness, and stay connected with your loved ones — even when you’re apart.

2. Who Can Use the App

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
• You may only create or manage a profile for someone else with their knowledge and consent.
• You agree to use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise permitted in writing.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Ensure that all information you provide (especially medication times and schedules) is accurate and up to date.
• Use reminders and notifications as a helpful tool, not as a substitute for direct communication or medical oversight.
• Respect others’ privacy and do not misuse join codes, profiles, or messaging features.
• Don’t attempt to access, alter, or misuse another user’s account or data.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Don’tForgetDad offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• All pricing, billing terms, and renewal options are clearly displayed within the app before purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your app store account settings.
• Subscription access is tied to your account and may include limits (e.g., number of profiles).

5. Data & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your data and handling it with care. We use Firebase and other trusted services to store and process your data securely. Your personal data will never be sold. Please read our full Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information.

6. Notifications and Reminders

Push notifications are used to help you remember important actions such as medication times. You are responsible for ensuring your device allows notifications and that your schedule is set up correctly. Notifications are for assistance only and should not be considered a medical guarantee or substitute for care.

7. Limitations of Liability

We do our best to provide a reliable, caring service — but we cannot be held liable for missed reminders, inaccurate data, health outcomes, or app interruptions. Don’tForgetDad is not a medical service. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or misuse the app in any way that affects other users or the platform’s integrity.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms & Conditions as our app evolves. If changes are significant, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes means you agree to the new terms.
